Meet Edward J. Lynch, DDS

Edward J. Lynch, DDS moved to Rapid City in 1974 with his family from Zweibrucken Germany.

Since 1986, Edward J. Lynch, DDS has been serving the general, implant and cosmetic dental needs of Rapid City. You can trust him to listen to your wishes and concerns and to provide you with an unmatched level of expertise, attention to detail, and concern for your comfort.

Through the years our loyal patients have graciously allowed us to not only provide traditional dental care and cosmetic dentistry, but have trusted us to provide the very latest and most advanced dental procedures as well. We are proud to offer BioHorizons conventional and one-piece implants. We are pleased to perform bone regeneration procedures for our patients that have been told they cannot have implants. Specially secured dentures using implants won’t slip or cause discomfort. Sedation dentistry for the fearful patient.

Meet Our Team

Ame

Dental Hygienist /
Orofacial Myologist

Ame earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of South Dakota in 1993. She has been serving the patients at Creative Smile Designs since 2012. In 2017, her passion to help people drove her to open Black Hills Orofacial Myology as a part time business. In 2019, she became the first Orofacial Myologist in SD to earn the designation of QOM, Qualified Orofacial Myologist, and earned the COM or Certified Orofacial Myologist from the International Association of Orofacial Myology. I enjoy collaborating with other professionals for the good of our patients. Outside of the dental world, Ame enjoys camping, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and hiking in the Black Hills. She is a member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology, American Dental Hygienist’s Association, the South Dakota Dental Hygienist’s Association, the American Laser Study Club and is active in her church.

JoAnn

Dental Hygienist

JoAnn has a BS in Dental Hygiene from the University of Nebraska. She is passionate about helping her patients maintain a healthy mouth. If she had a “specialty,” it would be working with individuals with special needs. In her spare time JoAnn likes to hike, do crafts, and try to keep up with her two teen girls.

Lana

Dental Assistant

Lana became a dental assistant in 2013. She started in orthodontics and now enjoys general dentistry. Lana loves being part of giving patients a great and confident smile. Outside of the office, she loves being a wife, mom and dog mom. She enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking in our beautiful Black Hills.

Josh

Dental Assistant

Josh graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2022 with bachelor’s in biology. He has come to our office as a dental assistant in pursuit of becoming a Dentist himself. He enjoys spending his free time cooking and skiing. Josh keeps all things clean and organized for efficient dental treatment.
